Angel Studios’ Runner, an action comedy starring Reacher star Alan Ritchson and comedy great Owen Wilson, is new in theaters and has won over a good number of critics.
Directed by Scott Waugh, Runner opens in theaters nationwide on Friday. Not to be confused with Gad Gadot’s recent Prime Video critical disaster The Runner, Runner stars Ritchson as Hank Malone, a courier (aka a “runner”) of sensitive materials tasked with transporting a life-saving donor liver to save Ellie (Scarlett Crabtree), a young girl dying of liver cancer, who is awaiting in a hospital in Brisbane, Australia.
