Families of British 9/11 victims have marked the 25th anniversary of the terror attacks.

Crowds gathered in London's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park near a memorial sculpture of the Twin Towers ruins.

Prime Minister as Andy Burnham said in a video address to victims' families that 'those who seek to destroy our way of life will never win'.

He said: 'On this anniversary, we must remember that hatred and fear did not have the last word on 9/11.'

The US ambassador has laid a wreath at London's 9/11 Memorial Garden to mark the 25th anniversary of the terror attacks.
