Flávio Bolsonaro investigated for corruption and money laundering less than a month before the presidential elections. The conservative senator and son of former president Jair Bolsonaro, one of the favorites in the Brazilian presidential elections, is the subject of an investigation for corruption and money laundering, according to a judicial document released today.
In July, a Supreme Court judge authorized the opening of a police investigation against Flávio Bolsonaro for possible crimes related to the "financing of the production" of Dark Horse, a film dedicated to his father, the former far-right president of Brazil between 2019 and 2022.The 45-year-old senator admitted in May to having sought funding for the film from banker Daniel Vorcaro, currently detained as part of a vast banking fraud scandal.
