The group planned to carry out the attack around the anniversary of the Oct. 7 massacre last year.High-ranking Hamas officials tasked five of the suspects with procuring weapons and ammunition in Germany, according to the indictment. By last October, the group had already acquired a fully functional automatic rifle, 13 functional pistols and more than 700 rounds of ammunition.Another suspect, who is being prosecuted separately, transported some of the weapons to Vienna and stored them there.
