I was looking through old photographs from an iconic Lola Montez Ladies Night recently. In those photos, over a hundred women dressed up, laughed loudly, and celebrated their bodies without fear or hesitation and I looked so young!
Next Saturday, I’m taking the stage at The Confident Woman Collective: The Unsolicited Version, an unfiltered, fabulous room of honest conversation, with a few final seats still available for those ready to claim them, but it’s been a struggle. I’m not sure if it’s financial or disinterest.
It’s beginning to feel like everyone would rather shop on those cheap sites than support local.
Two wonderful adult boutiques in our community are shutting their doors permanently this month. Even worse, a prominent Afrikaans leader who advocates for healthy, honest marital relationships was recently banned on social media simply for speaking openly about sexual wellness.
