The Springboks should show no mercy to the All Blacks this Saturday in the final Test of Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry.
There is a feeling that they have held a little back in this series, not wanting to play all of their 2027 Rugby World Cup cards to keep some mystery ahead of the tournament. But with the trophy on the line in Baltimore (11pm kick-off SA time), it is time to suffocate New Zealand and show them why the Boks remain the benchmark of international rugby — and, more importantly, seal the series 3-1 emphatically.
While South Africa will not have their strongest side available with winger Cheslin Kolbe, Scrumhalf Grant Williams and flyhalf Handré Pollard out injured, limited changes for the second weekend in a row should bring more continuity and efficiency. That, in turn, should add to the ruthlessness of the Boks.
