The Israeli military destroyed Hezbollah’s underground infrastructure at the Ali al-Taher ridge in southern Lebanon, the prime minister’s office said on Thursday, adding the operation completed the establishment of a security zone in the area.
Israel said its forces would remain in the zone to prevent the Iran-aligned Hezbollah from re-establishing its presence and rebuilding its capabilities.
