JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – Italian companies targeting South African partnerships in areas including mining and energy are attracting attention at this week’s Electra Mining Africa 2026 at Johannesburg’s Nasrec Expo Centre.

The companies are exhibiting in Hall 1 and also reinforced what they have to offer at an evening event at South Africa's renowned Italian Sporting Club in Bedfordview.

Introduced by the Consul General of Italy in Johannesburg Livio Spadavecchia were companies whose offerings included:

solutions for the automation, control, and monitoring of electrical grids;

liquid-cooled braking resistors for electric mining trucks and lorries;
