A total of 102 residents have benefited from a free medical outreach organised by Kifayat Global Energy Limited in Ahor, Uhunmwonde Local Government Area of Edo State.
Apart from medical screening, beneficiaries also received health education during the two-day programme, which took place on Wednesday and Thursday.
The Director of Kifayat Global, Ismael Kola, who was represented by the company’s auditor, Busuyi Olowoniyi, said the idea behind the programme was to encourage healthy living, wellness and a culture of regular medical check-ups among residents.
He noted that the programme, which was the maiden edition, was also a way of giving back to the community where the company operates.
“We targeted 100 residents for the pilot edition, but 102 persons benefited from the programme.
