In a series of moves by Switzerland-headquartered CDMOs this week, manufacturing powerhouse Lonza is doubling down on its US footprint, while crosstown rival CordenPharma is drafting expansion plan | Lonza's plans for a new spray-drying facility in Bend, Oregon, affirm the company's commitment both to high-margin medicines and the U.S. At the same time, fellow Swiss CDMO CordenPharma is also making expansion moves, albeit closer to home.
