Following the homepage revamp with search in May, Google Wallet is now rolling out a redesign of passes on Android.
Instead of a small rectangular card against the Dynamic Color background, passes in Google Wallet now take up the entire screen. This includes theming the entire background of the page with the brand’s primary color.
Scrolling down lets you access key actions like calling associated phone numbers and visiting the official website. Under “Settings,” you can edit the nickname and control how it’s used. These preferences were previously accessed from the three-dot overflow menu.
Old vs. new
Curiously, this redesign allows you to access the old look in its entirety by tapping the rewind icon in the top-right corner.
