Four teenagers face more than 200 charges following a series of robberies across the Toronto region, including multiple smash-and-grabs in which suspects used stolen vehicles to crash into storefronts, police said.
At a Thursday news conference, Durham police announced the results of “Project Magenta,” which was launched after investigators found links between a number of commercial break-and-enters, vehicle thefts, attempted vehicle thefts, thefts from vehicles and fraud-related offences over the summer.
