The command said investigations into the separate cases are ongoing.

The Delta State Police Command has arrested 16 suspects and recovered a pump-action gun, a locally made pistol, a stolen Toyota Camry and quantities of suspected illicit drugs in separate operations across the state.

The command disclosed this in a press release issued on Thursday, by its Police Public Relations Officer, SP. Bright Edafe.

According to the police, the operations were carried out by different units and divisions of the command following intelligence reports and complaints from members of the public.

In Aragba-Orogun, operatives of the Command Anti-Cult Unit, Ozoro, disrupted a suspected cult gathering and arrested eight suspects.
