You might already know based on the title, but it never hurts to give an explanation...right?
I have this thought that kept clashing with each other when it comes to sharing your accomplishments while trying not to be an egotistical about it. I found this to be impossible.
I am a type of person that doesn't want to be an egotistical person because I am afraid of hurting everyone around me. Always conscious about what others think of me and always rereading my posts to make sure I am not hurting anyone.
For a while now, I felt like I am starting to be an egotistical person. Each week, I post about anything DEV related on the platform. The more I do it, the more I feel good about myself. Mainly because I have something to prove that I can do what I do.
However, I tend not to share my accomplishments as often to those around me. The only time is when @jess do the weekly "What is your Win this week". Even that took a toll on me because it feels like the things I am sharing brings "everyone" down and despise me for it.
