KHAMMAMA car driver allegedly throttled his wife to death inside his car before abandoning the vehicle with her body near a private school under the Khanapuram Haveli police station limits in Khammam on Thursday.The incident came to light on Friday after the deceased’s relatives lodged a complaint with the police. The deceased was identified as Renuka, wife of Vidyasagar, a car driver and native of Rompedu village in Yellandu mandal of Bhadradri Kothagudem district.According to sources, Vidyasagar married Renuka six months ago and the couple moved into a rented house in Khammam. He had reportedly been quarrelling with her over domestic and family-related issues for the past few weeks. Vidyasagar allegedly took Renuka in his car and throttled her to death on the outskirts of Khammam town on Thursday. He then allegedly abandoned the car near a private institution with her body inside and fled. The exact motive for the alleged murder was not immediately known.
