ALBAWABA - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visits Canada after stopping in Norway where the Norwegian PM said that Zelenskyy was almost hit with a drone in Moldova.The visit, scheduled from Wednesday to Friday, is Zelenskyy’s first to Canada in a year as Ukraine continues to suffer under Russian air and drone strikes.Zelenskyy and his wife are set to attend events in Calgary, Toronto and North Bay, a statement from Prime Minister Mark Carney said. "The visit underscores Canada's continued leadership in supporting Ukraine and reflects our unwavering commitment to a just and lasting peace," he said, adding that the visit will focus on "shared priorities" between Canada and Ukraine in economic, energy, and defense sectors."It will also address the human cost of Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine and build on the strong people-to-people ties that connect our countries." That is the reality he lives in,"The drone eventually crashed in a sunflower field on the outskirts of a village in Riscani district, which caused four fires to break out but no injuries.
