TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) began their Champions League title defense for the 2026/27 season with a resounding 6-1 victory over Slovan Bratislava on Matchday 1 of the league phase at the Parc des Princes early Friday morning, Western Indonesian Time (WIB).Ferran Torres starred in PSG's win, scoring a hat-trick, while Ousmane Dembele netted two goals and Fabian Ruiz added another.The victory propelled PSG to the top of the Champions League standings with three points and a +5 goal difference.Meanwhile, Slovan Bratislava sits at the bottom of the table with zero points and a -5 goal difference, according to UEFA's official website as cited by Antara.PSG took control of the match right from the start. Capitalizing on a counter-attack initiated by Dro Fernandez, the French forward scored with a header into the left corner of the Slovan Bratislava goal.PSG extended their lead in the 31st minute through Ferran Torres, putting them in a commanding position.
