After more than twenty years of anticipation there’s a new Gruffalo story.
The familiar creature with his terrible tusks and terrible claws – not to mention the terrible teeth in his terrible jaws – is joined by a new character, Gruffalo’s Granny, also the title of the book.
The Gruffalo’s first two adventures have been a global success with more than 18 million copies sold and translated in more than 100 languages.
Author Julia Donaldson and illustrator Axel Scheffler joined us on Channel 4 News and read an extract from the new book.
