One of Turkey’s top defense companies, Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation (MKE), recently relayed that it has established a subsidiary in North Africa’s largest market, Egypt.

This was made known by the company’s General Manager, Ilhami Keles, who disclosed that MKE is setting up a fully controlled subsidiary in Cairo under Egyptian law, named “Zafer (Victory),” to engage in commercial activities and support collaborative manufacturing initiatives with Egypt.

“We established a company called ‘Zafer’ entirely under Egyptian law, with all of its shares owned by MKE,” he said.

“Thus, MKE now has a company here capable of operating under Egyptian law.

Just as in Azerbaijan, MKE will continue to have a presence in Egypt through its own legal entity,” he added.
