Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) on Wednesday announced the new AirPods 5, Apple Watch Ultra 4, Apple Watch Series 12 and the Apple Watch SE 3 at its "Surprise and Shine" event in Cupertino, alongside the new iPhone 18 Pro series and the iPhone Duo.

The AirPods 5 offers five hours of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), with both the budget and high-end variants including support for this feature.
Apple said the AirPods 5 offer 50% more noise reduction compared to the AirPods 4, thanks to redesigned internals, a next-generation EQ, and up to 20 hours of battery life with the case.
Apple says that the AirPods 5 offer the best ANC in the industry when it comes to open-ear earbuds. They also offer hands-free access to Siri, along with Live Translation.
