Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Office of the President, called the Russian court’s decision to arrest him in absentia a “masterpiece of absurdity” and a sign of the effectiveness of his work.
According to Ukrinform, he made this statement on Telegram.
“The decisions of the so-called Russian ‘court’ have no significance for me, nor for the rest of humanity. The only thing that matters is my work, which forces the enemy to panic and issue such masterpieces of absurdity. I consider such actions by the enemy to be a kind of acknowledgment of my effectiveness. Well, I cannot lower the bar; I will continue to work just as productively. I serve the Ukrainian people!” Budanov said.

Earlier, Russian propaganda outlets RIA Novosti and TASS reported that the Moscow City Court had “arrested in absentia” the head of the Office of the President and former head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov, on charges of allegedly “using prohibited means and methods of warfare.”
