Snap Inc. (NYSE:SNAP) stock fell more than 3% Wednesday as investors pulled back from riskier stocks amid a broader market decline. The Nasdaq fell 0.26%, while the S&P 500 lost 0.44%.

Nine of the 11 S&P 500 sectors traded lower. Market breadth was also weak, with an advance-decline ratio of 0.2. Meanwhile, the Russell 2000 fell 1.1%, signaling pressure on smaller and more volatile stocks.

Technical Analysis

Snap remains under pressure from a longer-term technical perspective. The stock trades about 9.5% below its 200-day simple moving average of $5.81.

However, shares remain 4.4% above the 50-day SMA of $5.04. That suggests the stock’s intermediate-term recovery remains intact despite Wednesday’s decline.
