Plus: We had a few Statcast standouts, Jayson Stark extols Aaron Judge’s virtues, and … is it time to get premature with the Junior Caminero accolades?I’m Levi Weaver — welcome to The Windup!Instant Classic: More Cubs-Brewers in October, please? The NL Central isn’t close. Milwaukee holds a nine-game lead with 16 games left to play. But if the head-to-head games are going to look like this, I really hope we get to see these two facing off in October.Last night’s face-off was a pitcher’s duel for the first eight innings, with Jacob Misiorowski and David Peterson each handing off a 1-1 tie to their respective bullpens. Then it went like this:

Top of the ninth: Two-run double for Carson Kelly to put the Cubs up 3-1.

Bottom of the ninth: Two-out, two-run homer for Jackson Chourio; 3-3.

Top of the 10th: Garrett Mitchell made a great throw to third base to nab the slightly-oversliding Seiya Suzuki. Double play, still 3-3.

Bottom of the 10th: Luis Lara continued his brilliant rookie campaign, singling home Brice Turang for Milwaukee’s walk-off win, 4-3.
