A lawyer who allegedly left a string of restaurants without paying for her meal before fleeing the country has finally been arrested.Kerry Stevens, who is accused of a series of 'dine and dash' offences, left the UK and even posed for pictures at Disneyland Paris.She allegedly made off from several eateries in 2024 without settling the bill and bolted from taxis without handing over the fare.Stevens was accused of downing wine, fizzy drinks and Sunday roasts at a pub with her husband, before being reprimanded by other diners as they attempted to leave.The mother-of-one was charged with 11 counts of making off without payment and one count of theft from a shop. She was the subject of four arrest warrants and failed to appear at court on at least nine occasions, before leaving the UK.Stevens was arrested on August 30 and was remanded to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court on August 31.She is now due to stand trial at Ipswich Crown Court on November 9 and has been ordered to surrender her passport. In May, she posted on Facebook wearing Mickey Mouse ears and holding a bubble-wand, understood to be from a day trip at Disneyland Paris.Electrician Alani pleaded guilty to theft, theft from a shop and eight counts of making off without payment earlier this year.
