Here's a city-by-city look at the biggest concerts at each of the 30 NFL stadiums in the United States.
Sept. 9 kicks off the 2026 NFL regular season with a matchup between the New England Patriots and defending Super Bowl champs Seattle Seahawks. But while football teams are back on the home field, the biggest stars of pop, hip-hop and more continue North American stadium season as summer turns to fall.
Here, Billboard looks at the biggest shows ever at each of the 30 NFL stadiums.
Earlier this year, we published a similar list for the biggest shows ever at MLB stadiums. But you might notice that the grosses and ticket counts for NFL shows are often much bigger. The typical attendance for a concert at a baseball stadium runs somewhere between 30,000-45,000. At football stadiums, capacity scales between 60,000 in Chicago to more than 80,000 at MetLife Stadium.
Ranking the top three highest grossing shows at each stadium, 30 different artists appear on the list, with two acts — one country legend and one genre-bending star of pop, R&B and more — each appearing more than a dozen times. Among artists with the biggest gross at each venue, those same two acts claim seven stadiums apiece.
