Two foreign nationals arrested after suspected mandrax lab raid in Erasmia
Two foreign nationals have been arrested after the Hawks' South African Narcotics Enforcement Bureau (SANEB) uncovered a suspected clandestine mandrax manufacturing laboratory worth an estimated millions of rand in Erasmia, west of Pretoria on Wednesday.
The exact street value of the drugs and chemicals seized has not yet been confirmed, but preliminary estimates indicate the operation is worth millions of rand.
The Deputy National Commissioner for Policing, Lieutenant General Tebello Mosikili is on the way to the scene and is expected to provide further details on the arrests, the seized contraband, and the circumstances surrounding the discovery.
