Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday that Moscow hopes to resume trilateral talks on ending Russia’s war against Ukraine.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the BBC Russian Service.
“There is a joint initiative, a shared political desire that has been confirmed – to move toward resuming trilateral talks. We hope that these talks will resume in the near future,” Peskov said.
At the same time, the Kremlin spokesman did not specify when such a meeting could take place.
Peskov also said that during yesterday’s conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump, the two discussed prisoner exchanges between Russia and Ukraine, as well as exchanges between the United States and Russia.
