On Tuesday, clinical-stage biotechnology company Evommune Inc. (NYSE:EVMN) announced topline results from its dose-ranging Phase 2b trial assessing oral EVO756 for moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis.
Phase 2b Clinical Trial Findings
The study evaluated the efficacy and safety profile of oral EVO756, a Mas-related G-protein coupled receptor X2 antagonist.
The trial enrolled 121 adult patients with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis over an active 12-week treatment period, with researchers monitoring participants through Week 14.
The experimental drug failed to reach both its primary and secondary endpoints across all tested dose levels.
