Worse off: Two in three Kenyans feel poorer than before 2022 polls

Majority of Kenyans in the country report that their personal economic situation has worsened since the 2022 election, according to a new survey by TIFA Research.

The survey, TIFA's second release from its national poll conducted between June 13 and June 22, found that 66 per cent of respondents say they are worse off than before the last election.

Only 12 per cent report an improvement, while 23 per cent say their situation has stayed the same.
