US supermajor Chevron and Italian integrated Eni on Wednesday separately announced agreements with the Venezuelan government to expand their operations in the South American nation as international interest grows following the ouster of then-President Nicolas Maduro — and a spate of hydrocarbon law reforms — earlier this year.
