All Black loose forward Wallace Sititi says the team must fix their discipline and set-piece defence ahead of Saturday's final Test in Baltimore.
The All Blacks have undergone a frank debrief following their 29–24 defeat to the Springboks at FNB Stadium, with loose forward Wallace Sititi revealing the squad faced a "pretty stern review" before heading to Baltimore for Saturday's series finale.
Conceding 12 penalties in Soweto proved fatal for New Zealand, repeatedly inviting South Africa into dangerous territory. For Sititi, eliminating those self-inflicted wounds is non-negotiable if the Kiwis hope to level the four-Test series at 2–2.
“We had a pretty stern review and now it’s about moving forward,” Sititi said. “We have got a big Test this weekend. Anywhere you give away penalties it’s always an issue.
“Not just the breakdown. Sort of anywhere. I guess we are just giving them easy entry into our 22m and they are capitalising on it a bit better than we are.”
