This week, we speak to Kevin Fortey, 48, who lives in Cwmbran, Wales, with his partner and has a son at university. Kevin works in housing in local government, but is passionate about growing giant fruit and vegetables and holds 15 Guinness World Records including for the world’s heaviest beetroot, the longest sweet pepper and the tallest cucumber plant.
Kevin reveals that he has only recently started paying attention to his pension situation and has realised that like vegetables, pensions need time and that starting small can reap big rewards.
