'Plug and play' Oftana completes Gilas' Asian Games roster

Taking over the spot initially reserved for Justin Brownlee, Calvin Oftana joins Gilas Pilipinas just a couple of days before it opens its title defense in the Asian Games

Calvin Oftana has been added to the Gilas Pilipinas roster for the Asian Games, replacing Justin Brownlee who is dealing with injuries.

Oftana, who plays for TNT in the PBA, last participated in national team duties in March and is now fit to play after returning to practice.

Coach Cone believes Oftana will integrate well into the team due to his extensive experience and familiarity with the system.
