The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria has inducted 57 professionals from the Redeemed Christian Church of God, urging them to strengthen their competencies, uphold ethical standards, and deliver measurable value as they take on greater responsibilities within their organisations and communities.
The professionals were inducted at the institute’s 72nd Induction Ceremony, held virtually recently, under the theme, “Building High-Impact Competencies for Effective Service and Ministry.”
The induction comprised one professional admitted through the Executive Route and 56 through the HR Practitioners’ Route, reflecting the church’s efforts to strengthen professional capacity among its workforce.
Speaking at the ceremony, CIPM President and Chairman of the Governing Council, Mallam Ahmed Gobir, said membership of the institute should represent more than professional recognition, charging the inductees to use their expertise to improve the organisations and communities they serve.
Gobir said the changing nature of work had made continuous learning, professional development and adaptability increasingly important for human resource professionals seeking to remain relevant in a rapidly evolving workplace.
