One of the strangest pieces of wearable tech I demoed at the IFA 2026 show is the iKairos. Pitched as a “second memory” that captures the most important moments of your life, this AI-powered device doubles as a wearable pendant and a stationary desktop companion.All that said, I still don’t fully understand the purpose of the iKairos, and frankly, the folks showing it at IFA didn't seem to really know either. But what purpose does this sort-of interactive digital face serve?Personal note-taking is one of the main advertised features of the iKairos; users can whisper all their deepest, darkest secrets to the happy little guy for safekeeping and transcription.I suppose, to make these interactions a little less impersonal-feeling, the folks at iKairos gave the wearable a goofy cartoon face capable of blinking and making a handful of vague expressions.A built-in camera captures your life… sort of
