Karol G adds her second leader, while Judeline and rusowsky reign for the first time each.
Karol G, Judeline and rusowsky’s “BbY WOW” bounds to No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts. Karol G adds her second leader on the lists, after “TQG,” with fellow Colombian star Shakira, led in its debut week in March 2023. Judeline and rusowsky rule the rankings for the first time.
Speaking of Shakira, “BbY WOW” dethrones her and Burna Boy’s “Dai Dai (FIFA World Cup Official Song 2026)” after 10 weeks atop Global Excl. U.S. and seven weeks atop the Global 200 beginning in July.
“BbY WOW” becomes the biggest song in the world with 42.3 million streams (up 62% week over week) and 1,000 sold (up 60%) worldwide Aug. 28-Sept. 3, according to Luminate. It totaled 30.7 million streams (up 72%) outside the U.S. It jumps 5-1 in its fourth week on the Global 200 and 10-1 in its third frame on Global Excl. U.S.
The song is the first No. 1 on the charts performed predominantly in Spanish since Bad Bunny’s “DtMF” wrapped its reign in March.
