Digital scans of driver's licenses from the U.S. and Canada appeared for sale on a dark web site called Nexus, which vanished after a journalist reported on it

The FBI said it is investigating a report that digital scans of more than 153 million driver's licenses belonging to people in the United States and Canada were being sold on the dark web, according to Reuters.
In its statement, the bureau said only that it was "looking into the incident" and declined to elaborate "due to the ongoing nature of the investigation." What caused the breach has not been determined.
