Deutsche Bank and Citi cited a group meeting with BYD management, which also guided for 1.9 to 2 million overseas shipments in 2026

BYD is targeting overseas shipments of more than 2.5 million vehicles in 2027, according to Reuters, which cited notes from Deutsche Bank and Citi following a group meeting with the Chinese electric vehicle maker's management. BYD did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
For 2026, BYD management guided overseas shipments to reach 1.9 million to 2 million vehicles, close to double last year's level. Management indicated that shipping constraints held back export volumes this year and that the numbers could otherwise have been higher.
