AT&T becomes the first U.S. wireless carrier to use Amazon Leo's low-Earth-orbit satellite network to serve business customers

AT&T $T signed an agreement with Amazon $AMZN on Tuesday to deliver satellite internet to business customers, making AT&T the first U.S. telecom provider to use connectivity from Amazon's Leo low-Earth-orbit satellite division.
"Customers have no shortage of connectivity options. What enterprise and public sector customers need is a connectivity platform that delivers greater reliability," Shawn Hakl, AT&T Business's head of product, said in a company statement.
