Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis arrived in El Alamein in Egypt on Tuesday, where he will meet with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, as Athens seeks to boost the two countries’ strategic cooperation.
The importance of the relationship is expected to be reflected in a joint statement that will be issued after their meeting which will touch upon several issues of bilateral interest.
The two leaders begun a private meeting which will be followed by trilateral talks with the participation of Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides.
