Nectar card holders can now collect the points when they book a cruise, in a tie-up that could net them up to £750 per booking.

Users of the Sainsbury's loyalty scheme can now both collect a maximum of 150,000 Nectar points when booking eligible cruises with Ambassador Cruise Line.

That could translate to a maximum of £750, though it depends on how they choose to spend the points as some retailers offer better points-to-pounds conversion rates than others.

Passengers can also spend Nectar points with Ambassador to reduce the cost of a cruise or potentially pay for an entire sailing.

The offer applies to Ambassador's UK no-fly cruises and Caribbean fly-cruise holidays.
