As AI drives increasing energy consumption in the US, natural gas looks set to fill the gap
First reported by Nevada Current, the company has asked the Public Utility Commission of Nevada (PUCN) to approve plans for the plants, which, if built, would have a capacity of 360MW. The plants would be located 30 miles from Reno and would power Fleet's Peru Ridge and South Valley data center campuses at the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center.
