The Director of Public Prosecutions has approved corruption-related charges against former Sports Principal Secretary Peter Kaberia and nine others over the alleged misappropriation of Sh330 million set aside for Kenya's preparations to host the 2018 Africa Nations Championship (Chan).
In a press statement shared on Tuesday morning, the DPP Office said the charges follow an investigation by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
The DPP said an independent review of the evidence established sufficient grounds to prosecute both the individuals and companies implicated in the case.
