'58th' scored major awards at the Manila International Film Festival (MIFF).GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs animated documentary 58th continues to add to its trophy haul.
Based on the information uploaded on the social media pages of GMA Pictures, the film won several major awards in the Manila International Film Festival in Hollywood.
58th—which tackles one of the bloodiest moments in Philippine history, the Maguindanao Massacre in 2009—bagged the recognition for Best Picture (Documentary), while its director Carl Joseph Papa was hailed as Best Director.
