A quarter of young travelers now consider a destination's coffee scene a major factor in whether they visit at all, according to GetYourGuide's Hidden Trends List, part of a broader shift in which travelers increasingly want to explore the origins and traditions behind a cup rather than simply drinking one somewhere new.
This list splits between two distinct versions of coffee travel, origin countries where the bean is actually grown and harvested, and coffee culture cities built around café life and roasting rather than cultivation, since the two experiences offer genuinely different reasons to plan a trip around coffee specifically.
