We knew it would be a tough stretch, but we had high hopes for Coach Greg Carswell and Grayson this season. After an 0-2 start, however, the Rams dropped out of the Georgia high school football Top 25 last week.Well, it's not last week anymore.Grayson went to Langston Hughes and won 22-3, holding a team we had ranked No. 6 to 108 total yards. One win doesn't erase August, but beating one of Georgia's better teams by 19 points is a pretty compelling application for readmission.Elsewhere, Creekside went to New Jersey and won by 29. Lee County scored 22 points in approximately the amount of time it takes most of us to decide what we're ordering for dinner. Gainesville finds itself on the other side of the rule that got Grayson bounced last week. And Newton scored a school-record 71 points.
