The inquest into the death of Anele Tembe, who was dating rapper Kiernan "AKA" Forbes, started in the Cape Town Magistrate's Court on Monday.
The inquest into the death of Anele Tembe has heard that AKA called the Pepper Club Hotel’s reception for security before she fell to her death in April 2021.
At the time of her death, Tembe was engaged to the late rapper AKA, whose real name was Kiernan Forbes.
During proceedings in the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court on Monday, an order was delivered by the magistrate that no livestreaming, filming, recording, or naming of the witnesses was allowed, unless the witnesses allowed it.
The second witness of the day told the court he was not aware if AKA had tried to talk Tembe down from jumping from the 10th floor.
