DepEd seeks more funds as ARAL gets zero in proposed 2027 budget

The Department of Education is requesting an additional P145 billion in 2027 to fund the ARAL Program, hire new teachers, build classrooms, and improve students' health, among others

The proposed 2027 budget for the Department of Education has no allocation for the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning Program.

The DepEd is seeking additional funds totaling P145.19 billion, including P15.98 billion specifically for the ARAL Program.
