Israeli air strikes on southern Lebanon killed at least 11 people in Kfar Remman early on Monday, according to Lebanese state media, as a new wave of attacks hit residential areas and medical workers near territory illegally occupied by Israeli forces. The attacks followed days of fighting that has placed fresh pressure on a US-backed ceasefire framework.
Lebanon’s National News Agency said nine people, including two children, died when an Israeli strike hit a three-storey residential building in Kfar Remman in the Nabatieh district. Five others were wounded.
A separate drone strike hit a vehicle in the same town and killed two medics, according to the agency.
