Bitcoin traded just above $79,300 as of Asian morning hours Monday, down under 1% over 24 hours and up about 2% on the week, according to CoinDesk data.Zcash was the standout at nearly $1,183, up more than 3% on the day and 45% on the week after clearing $1,000 on Friday for the first time since 2016. Monero fell nearly 3% but holds a 4% weekly gain. The rest moved little. BNB dropped 2%, dogecoin and solana about 1% each, and ether, XRP, tron and hyperliquid all sat within 1% of flat. The seven-day frame is where the market is green, with BNB up nearly 9%, dogecoin more than 8% and hyperliquid 7%.Payrolls printed at 162,000 for August against forecasts near 56,000, lifting the odds of a hike at the Sept. 15-16 Fed meeting to roughly 58% from just under 50%. The two-year Treasury yield hit a 52-week high near 4.4%.Fund flows are absorbing it. U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs took about $770 million across the first four sessions of September. Watch whether that continues into a week where the rate repricing is now the base case rather than the surprise.
